TIME HEALS

Times heals more quickly

If you mark the day

That looks forward to tomorrow's happiness

Rather than yesterday's grief

There are days My Knight feels more acutely

The loss of the touch of the vanished hand

Of his beloved Aunt Hyma

And the sound of her voice that still is

But time will do its healing

And the past will flow into the present

And we are richer for having shared a life

For the love we gave and had

Healing doesn't mean forgetting

It means allowing the days to bring comfort

And the love we feel to be embedded in our souls.

ALL OVER AGAIN

There seems no end to the cruel blows

That fate has dealt us

And this sadly maybe entirely true

But no one escapes sorrows

And set backs all their lives

And the future seldom turns out as we hope

And we feel weary and depressed

But if we list all the love and goodness

That have come our way

We would have to admit

There are more gains than losses

And more good things to come

Grief will loose its sharp edge in time

But the unimaginable kindness shown to us remains

I have seen this to be true as My Knight

Talks about his beloved Aunt Hyma

For nature has away of helping us

To remember the good times

And you will be able to bring it all back

To enjoy and laugh and love all over again...
